Tips and Trivia
- Find an excellent seamstress to fit your dress the way YOU want it to look. It’s worth the few extra dollars to get an expert for this task.
- Make a list of “must have” photographs and give it to your photographer ahead of time. (You will LOVE that picture of you and your brother dancing!)
- Be sure to include both “Must Play” and “Must Not Play” songs for your DJ or band.

Here are a few thoughts from brides who were asked the question “If you could do something different on your wedding day, what would it be?”
- “Do not attempt to be the guest of honor and the event planner all in one day. It’s stressful and nearly impossible for you to enjoy yourselves!”
- “If you possibly can, take a few minutes before the guests arrive to look at the church and reception hall when it is all decorated. You’ll be so caught up in all the activities that you may not even get to see it all put together.”
- “A videographer! We definitely think it would have been worth the cost. The day flies by, and a video would have captured the memories — it’s the best way to record the day from beginning to end.”
- “I wish I had had more time to spend with my guests. The evening went by so fast . . . .”
I am so grateful for Cindy! She helped with some really sticky “family issues” and helped me figure out what to do with so many different opinions. I don’t know what I would have done without her!
